In 1784, full sail, the SUPERBE launched from the Brest's shipyards joins admiral Villaret de Joyeuse's fleet. It was a period of great fights against the English fleet where "L'AUDACIEUX", "LE FOUGUEUX", "LE PATRIOTE", "LE TEMERAIRE" won fame.

Three masts, two decks, an extreme manoeuvrability due to the know-how of his architect, the famous Jacques Noel Sane. Seven hundred men were necessary for the smooth running of the vessel, a great war machine with 74 guns which sunk under a storm in 1795. Weve brought it to life again at the scale of 1/150 with its maze of masts, sails and ropes, its winged bow shape and its naughty flag. A faithful masterpiece of art, beautiful as a sculpture, with a meter of length which will make the heart of history and sea lovers beat.

En 1784, toutes voiles dehors, "LE SUPERBE", sort des chantiers navals de Brest pour rejoindre la flotte de l'Amiral Villaret de Joyeuse. C'est l'époque des grands combats contre les anglais, où s'illustrèrent entre autres "L'AUDACIEUX", "LE FOUGUEUX", "LE PATRIOTE" et "LE TEMERAIRE"...

Trois mâts, deux ponts, une extrême maniabilité due au savoir-faire de son architecte, le célèbre Jacques Noel Sane. Sept cents hommes sont nécessaires a' la marche du vaisseau, une belle machine de guerre doté de 74 canons, qui sombra dans la tempête en 1795. Il revit dans toute sa splendeur, à l'échelle 1/150, avec son labyrinthe de mâts, de voiles et de filins, sa figure de proue ailée, et son orgueilleuse bannière. Une oevure d'art fidèle, belle comme une sculpture, longue de plus d'un metre, qui fera battre le coeur des amoureux de l'histoire et de la mer.

Each ship model is made by hand with hundreds of man-hours. Depending on the complexity of the ship please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery. Models are shipped safely with specially designed packaging for safe delivery and easy unpacking.
